LiteraturBühne

Stories That Stay

A platform for literature and cultural exchange
Welcome to the LiteraturBühne. Here, readers, authors, and all who love the written word come together. We curate essays, portraits, and discussions about books, narrative art, and the culture of storytelling. Our aim is to look beyond the confines of the literary section and make new voices heard. Whether it's a short story, a literary salon, or the art of translation – you will find well-founded contributions and personal perspectives here.
The LiteraturBühne sees itself as an open space for everyone who wants not only to consume literature but also to understand and help shape it. We invite you to think along, discuss, and empathize. Our authors are experts in their field; our topics range from classical forms to contemporary experiments. Immerse yourself in a world where every word counts. Our Profile

LiteraturBühne – Voices That Endure

We are an editorial team of authors, translators, and editors. Our readers are people who want to understand stories, not just consume them. We work for everyone who values the written word as a craft and art form – independent of publishing constraints and bestseller lists.

1

Who We Write For

Our work is aimed at literary-minded readers who value language, atmosphere, and intellectual depth. Whether student, librarian, or freelance author – we offer texts that entertain and challenge.

Readers who read between the lines.
2

What Sets Us Apart

We do not curate mass-produced content. Every contribution undergoes a critical editorial review that checks for coherence, rhythm, and originality. Our focus is on contemporary German-language literature, essays, and literary reportage.

Quality over click rate.
3

Our Tone

We write factually, but not coldly. Our language is precise, accessible, and free of trendy jargon. We discuss rather than advertise, and leave room for contradiction and independent thought.

Respectful, clear, curious.

What We Stand For

For us, literature is a place of encounter – between cultures, generations, and perspectives. We promote debut voices as well as established authors, as long as their stance is recognizable and their craft is solid.

Diversity without arbitrariness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to our literary offerings, readings, and the platform – clear and without beating around the bush.

How can I submit my own texts?

Send your manuscript as a PDF or Word document to our editorial team. We read every submission and will get back to you within four weeks. Please note that we only accept unpublished short stories and essays.

Is there an age restriction for participating in readings?

No, our events are open to all age groups. For evening readings, we recommend accompaniment for children under twelve. The topics are always literary and cultural, never explicit or disturbing.

Can I borrow a book from your recommendation list?

We do not lend books ourselves, but we collaborate with local bookstores and libraries. On each recommendation page, you will find direct links to borrowing or purchasing options from our partners.

How often are new contributions published on the platform?

We usually publish two to three new articles or stories per week. Additionally, there are monthly interviews with authors and special features on literary events. A newsletter summarizes the highlights every Sunday.

Can I organize a literary salon at my home?

We are happy to support you with materials and a brief guide. Just send us a message with your idea. We can also connect you with other interested people in your area if you are looking for collaborators.
